What is Pad Printing?

Our PrintAll Pad Printer easily prints fine details on uneven surfaces. A pad print process can be defined in 4 stages.

  1. A digital image is first produced through the use of computer graphic software such as CorelDraw or PhotoShop. This can include a corporate logo, image in a black and white vector file. A vector file is a true graphics file and not a scanned photo or a bitmap such as jpeg, gif or bmp files. Artwork must be supplied to us as a Coreldraw file, Illustrator file or an eps file. We can design your vector logo file for you at a small cost of $55.00 including gst.
  2. This image is then printed onto special transparency film in sharp black and white. Epson printer is used to print black & white, not colour & not grayscale.
  3. The special film is then placed onto a special plate and placed into a UV exposure plate making unit as shown below.
  4. Once the plate is made it is placed in the inkwell of the Printall Pad Printer ready for a production run. The PrintAll Pad Printer is designed to work in remote or tight operating areas.

Examples of pad printed products are Pens, Golf Balls, Calculators.
